Opening of the Memorial center

The former US President Mr.Bill Clinton officially opened the Memorial Center on Septemebar 20,2003 when another 107 identified victims of genocide were buried.

A total of 989 identified persons have been buried at the Memorial center in Potočari over the course of the first three funeral ceremonies which were held in 2003...Around 5,000 human remains already exhumed from mass graves await identification, and the locations of additional graves are still being found...

During the fourth burial in the Potočari Cemenetery on July 11,2004, attended by 20.000 persons, another 338 victims were buried and the «dzenaza» prayer was held...
