Re: FC BARCELONA
Valencia v FCB. Did you know…
- Mestalla is one of the grounds where Barša have struggled the most of late. They have only won on one of their last five visits.
- Barša have not lost in the Community of Valencia since October 2007, when they lost 3-1 to Villarreal.
Valencia v Barša games have produced the same number of home and away wins (29).
- Barša have scored 40 goals on the road, while no other team has managed more than 18.
- In the second half of the season, Hercules is the only team that has been able to score two goals against FCB in a league fixture.
- The Mallorca match was the fifth this season in which all of Messi, Villa and Pedro scored.
- Barša is the only side that has not conceded a single goal in the first quarter of an hour of a match.
- Valencia have scored at least one goal in the last quarter of an hour in eight of their last ten league fixtures.
- Unai Emery’s side are the comeback kings of the championship. They have taken 15 points out of games this season in which they conceded the opening goal.
- Valencia have won four of their last five matches at Mestalla.
- David Villa, who is returning to his former club, has not scored in any of the last five games between Barša and Valencia, no matter which side he was playing on.
